Greater access to the gospel
To provide greater access to the gospel throughout Sudan and South Sudan.
Community Network Ministries exists to support partner churches in their collective pursuit of providing greater access to the gospel in South Sudan and Sudan.
Community Network Ministries (CNM) is a network of partner churches operating in South Sudan. We believe that sharing the truth of Christ can make a lasting and positive impact on people's lives.
CNM is registered as a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization with the State Ministry of Social Development and Child Welfare. Its headquarters are in Ayuang, Aweil Town, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State, South Sudan.
Years of conflict and political unrest have affected stability and community life in Sudan and South Sudan. CNM was established to encourage churches and equip them to share the gospel, nurture leaders and respond to the needs of their communities.
We are passionate about reaching people who have not yet heard or embraced the gospel, strengthening church leaders and seeing local communities transformed through faithful service.
These commitments guide our relationships with partner churches and the way we plan and carry out ministry.
To provide greater access to the gospel throughout Sudan and South Sudan.
To support churches with encouragement, tools and training to share the gospel, make disciples and multiply new churches.
We unite like-minded churches for encouragement, accountability, tools and training so they can share the gospel more effectively and start churches in unreached areas.
A Board of Directors oversees CNM's vision and overall ministry direction. A Management Team carries out day-to-day operations and functions.
These objectives bring CNM's gospel-centred calling together with church development, community care and stronger livelihoods. Agriculture and tree planting are included as a community-development objective to be shaped with local churches and communities.
Support and encourage existing churches to establish new congregations in unreached and underserved areas.
Partner with churches in evangelistic outreach missions and crusades, helping more people encounter the message of Jesus Christ.
Promote healthy church growth through seminars, conferences, discipleship and practical leadership training.
Bring resources together through partner churches to support people affected by crisis and demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways.
Build capacity through biblical teaching, vocational learning and income-generating skills that can strengthen families and support self-reliance.
Encourage locally appropriate food-growing practices, planting and care of useful trees, soil and water conservation, and environmental stewardship. These efforts can contribute to household food security, sustainable livelihoods and income opportunities for women and young people, care for the land, and stronger community resilience.
We seek to reflect these values in our relationships with churches, communities and ministry partners.
We commit to do our best in following Christ in our lives and ministry.
We strive to be open, responsible and accountable to one another in all we do.
We show respect and value each other as members of one network.
We share our gifts and resources because we can accomplish more together.
We maintain a clear commitment to making the gospel known.
We serve with dedication to fulfil the vision of the ministry.
