Evangelism and church planting
CNM supports outreach activities and crusades while encouraging partner churches to establish and nurture churches in unreached and underserved areas.
CNM supports partner churches through gospel outreach, leadership development, practical community service and skills-building for women and youth.
CNM's current work in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State brings together evangelistic outreach, church planting and practical skills development.
CNM supports outreach activities and crusades while encouraging partner churches to establish and nurture churches in unreached and underserved areas.
Training helps women and young people develop practical skills, including sewing and vocational skills, with the aim of strengthening their ability to support themselves and their families.
CNM seeks to strengthen household livelihoods and community resilience by encouraging sustainable agriculture, tree planting and responsible care for the land and natural resources. Working through partner churches and local community groups, this objective connects practical skills with stewardship of God's creation.
Activities can be shaped around local priorities and available resources. They may include home gardens and demonstration plots, planting and caring for locally suitable fruit and shade trees, soil and water conservation, and skills-sharing with women and young people. The aim is to support food security, practical income opportunities and a shared sense of responsibility for the places communities call home.
Encourage locally suitable growing practices that can support household food needs and strengthen resilience.
Promote planting and aftercare for useful trees, including locally appropriate fruit and shade varieties.
Share practical knowledge about soil, water and land care, with participation from churches, women and youth.
Alongside gospel outreach and church development, CNM works to encourage healthy communities, practical care, reconciliation, protection for vulnerable people and responsible stewardship of local resources.
